Schemes relating to the Welfare of BCs, MBCs, DWCs and religious Minorities

Various Schemes like supply of free text books, Scholarships, Free educational Concessions, running of Hostels, Award of Prizes, etc., are being implemented for the uplift of BC, MBC, DNCS & Religious Minorities.

Reimbursement of Special Fees, examination fees to School Boys & Girls

1.      Prematric Scholarship 2010-11 year BC Student for English Medium Scholarship Physiscal for 2344 for expenditure Rs.5.39/- lakhs.

2.      Reimbursement MB:C Prematric & Post Matric Scholarship by 250 & 500 MBC Students Rs.16.90/- Lakhs.

Post matric Scholarship, Free educational concessions for Degree, Diploma, and professional Degree Courses

WOMEN’S DELIVERY RELIEF FUND - 8 Nos. Rs.6000 X 8 = 48,000/-

EDUCATION RELIEF FUND

• 28. 24 X 500 = 12,000/-

• 4 X 1000 = 4,000/-

ULAMAKAL SCHEME FOR MINORITIES

The Commissioner delegated the power to District Backward Welfare Officer for sanctioning Eye Class & Scholarship & Wedding Relief fund for three schemes.

• Eye Class = 14 X 500 = 7,000/-

• Education Relief Fund = 17 = 24,250/-

• Wedding Relief Fund = 3 = 6,000/-

Hostels are functioning for the Welfare of the students belonging to BCs, & MBCs as detailed below

Out of 36 hostels the following hostels are functioning in Government own buildings

Admission of Boarders in Hostels

Students are staying in there 36 Hostels. The boarders are admitted by a sselection committee casuistry member of Legislative Assembly Members of Parents Teachers Association. Members of Local Bodies and 2 Social Workers. The Committee is reconstituted once in 3 years by the District Collector. Committee Newly Forms for 2011 the Feeding charges for School Hostel at the rate of Rs.450/- for 10 months and for College Hostel Rs.550/- for 10 months towards food changes.

Other Loan Facilities

BC, MBC, DNC & Religious Minorities people are eligible for loan assistance ranging from 10,000/- to Rs. One lakh for doing their own business. They have to furnish he following documents is support of the claim.
