Brief Description about the Department

Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board constituted by Tamil Nadu Government on 01.04.1971 for executing Water Supply and Drainage Schemes in Tamil Nadu. The Rural Water Supply Schemes are executed by the Executive Engineer, TWAD Board, Rural Water Supply Division, Tiruvallur. The Urban Water Supply Schemes covered in the Urban area are executed by the Executive Engineer, TWAD Board, Urban Division, Tambaram and the Under Ground Sewerage Scheme executed by the Executive Engineer, TWAD Board, UGSS Division, Tiruvallur.
